Philadelphia Eagles @ Dallas Cowboys -3.5

Dallas Cowboys Football

Philadelphia Eagles @ Dallas Cowboys -3.5: COVID-19 has ravaged the Cowboys’ of late and they will once again be without Randy Gregory on the defensive line. They will also once again be without Demarcus Lawrence, which isn’t ideal against a very strong Eagles offensive line. Hurts may have all day to throw, as well as having room to run, which he did last week for 82 yards and a touchdown. The game marks Dak Prescott’s first game back in Dallas since his season-ending ankle injury last year. Both NFC East teams enter the week with a record of 1-1. Both teams have also looked surprisingly good so far this year, particularly Dallas given all of the injuries they have sustained. Still, I think the difference in this game will be won in the trenches. The Eagles have a better defensive and offensive line right now, and with Hurts, the weakness in the Cowboys defensive front seven will be felt. The markets seem to agree as this line opened up at 4.5 points, but the Eagles have taken money and the spread is shrinking. We could see a straight 3.0 by Monday night, so if you like the Eagles, take the hook now and if you like the Cowboys, you might as well wait until Monday. Personally, I am taking the points with the Eagles so give me that hook with the 3.5. I would also take the over 51.5 points for people who like to play totals.
