For the second time, and first since 1980, the Los Angeles Dodgers will host the MLB All-Star game on Tuesday, July 19.  The game will not determine who hosts the World Series, as that privilege goes to the team with the best record during the regular season. This Fall Classic will be managed by Astros manager Dusty Baker in the AL, and the Braves manager Brian Snitker, both of whom won their respective pennants last season.

The American League has a nice 8-game winning streak dating back to 2013- there was no All-Star game in 2020 due to Covid. All the games the past 10 years have been relatively low scoring for All-Star games. With the exception of 2018 when 14 runs were scored, the most runs scored have been 9 or fewer. The New .........
