Green Bay Packers @ Baltimore Ravens

The major question mark in this game isn’t COVID-19 for once, it is the health of Baltimore quarterback Lamar Jackson. The dual threat signal caller left last week’s game against Cleveland in the first half after spraining his ankle. He hasn’t been ruled out yet but Jackson has also yet to practice this week. Head Coach John Harbaugh said that Jackson is a game time decision, but that the Ravens are planning on having him start. The Packers are coming off a win at home against Chicago, although the start was not what they were expecting. The Packers defense has been solid so far this year, but it gave up 27 points to an anemic offense in the first half, before clamping down in the second half. The Packers offense looked as good as ever, and will be facing a Baltimore defense that has been ravaged by injuries including top corner Marlon Humphrey and potentially starting safety Chuck Clark who is on the COVID list right now. The Ravens could be getting back Calais Campbell which would give a major boost to the defensive line. The fact that Green Bay is a touchdown favorite on the road in Baltimore which is notoriously a difficult place to play, tells us that the bookmakers are not expecting Lamar to play. Even if Jackson does play, I don’t know if Baltimore can hang with a Green Bay team that has been spread covering monsters. The Packers will be a road chalk bet for the public, but I am laying it now with Green Bay before the line moves higher if Jackson is announced out.
