Buffalo Bills @ Kansas City Chiefs -3.0

AFC supremacy is on the line in this Sunday Night Football matchup between the Bills and Chiefs. Last season the teams met twice and the Chiefs were victorious both times including the AFC Championship game in January. The field goal difference in the point spread speaks volumes on how sportsbooks view these two teams. Arrowhead definitely has some advantages, but the cold won’t bother the Bills. Kansas City has started the season slowly this year, finding themselves at the bottom of the AFC West division. The Bills are 3-1 and sit atop the AFC East division, but in hindsight they haven’t truly been challenged, losing to the Steelers in Week 1, and then defeating the Dolphins, Washington, and the Texans last week. Buffalo’s defense has looked incredible so far, but which defense wouldn’t against those teams? Kansas City has a knack of making opposing defenses look like swiss cheese. I think that Kansas City’s slow start has given them a negative sentiment, especially compared to the Bills who are coming off of a 40-0 win over Houston. The one wildcard is Kansas City’s defense which has allowed massive offensive outputs from Baltimore, Los Angeles, and if it weren’t for some bad play calls in the red zone, Philadelphia as well. With that being said, give me Andy Reid at home here as a contrarian play. I have seen a lot of sharps on Buffalo this week but let’s see how they handle their first real challenge of the season. Lay the points with Kansas City.
