Los Angeles Rams @ San Francisco 49ers +3.5

San Francisco 49ers stadium

Both of these NFC West rivals are coming off disappointing losses in Week 9. The stats surrounding this game are misleading though: the 49ers have won the past four matchups, but this will be the first time they are getting a taste of Matthew Stafford. The Rams have been busy as of late, trading for all-pro pass rusher Von Miller and signing free agent wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. It is unclear whether either will play this week, but the Rams should have plenty of firepower to handle the 49ers. San Francisco has struggled at home this season, winless in four games so far. The Rams are a perfect 4-0 on the road, and will look to continue that streak in Santa Clara on Monday Night Football. The 49ers love to run the ball, but the Rams have the fourth best rushing defense in the NFL. Relying on Jimmy Garpollo under center hasn’t been a profitable endeavor this season, even with star tight end George Kittle back in the lineup. Division matchups can be funny, and the 49ers have certainly had the Rams number these past couple of years. I’m trusting that the Rams get back on track on Monday though, and I am laying the 3.5 with the visiting team.
