How to Choose the Right Offshore Sportsbook

Thinking of how to filter through all of the mediocre sites to try and figure out which ones have what you're looking for in online sports betting; this can be a daunting task to say the least. We’ve been reviewing offshore sportsbooks for over a decade now and believe we can you help narrow down your choices. Whenever we look at a new online sportsbook we have several criteria we use to determine if the site meets our standards:

1: Financial Stability: This may be difficult to gauge, you’re not going to be able to walk in and examine their books, but a good indicator is the length of time they’ve been in business. We’re not saying a sportsbook that’s only been around for two or three years is not stable, however if they’ve been around for five, or ten years, or longer chances are they are a solid organization. Sportsbook reviews are another indicator. Is the review an advertisement, or are you getting important facts? Does the writer leave out the companies contact information? Watch out for spam, reputable online sportsbooks will never send out unwelcome emails. When you bet, start off small, test them to see how long it takes to get a payout. These are only some of the things to look for when searching for a good offshore sportsbook, but it's a good starting point.

2: Simplicity of Transactions: Deposits and withdrawals are one of the most important features of any online sportsbooks. What’s the point of winning bets if it takes weeks for the money to hit your bank account? You want to find a bookmaker that has several different ways to accept deposits and get your winnings to you in a timely matter. Not everyone is into cryptocurrencies, but if you are, it's usually the fastest way to get paid out and many sites will actually offer larger cryptocurrency related bonuses.

3: Betting Choices: Another no-brainer! The site can have all the lucrative bonuses and features you could ask for, but if it doesn’t offer betting on the NFL, it’s not going to survive. These days offshore sportsbooks offer more options to bet on than you could ever imagine: between eSports, politics, player props, international sports leagues, futures bets, and live betting, there really isn’t much that you can’t bet on. You want to make sure the site has all of the major sports leagues, as well as a ton of optionality in how you can bet on the games.

4: The Bonus Policy: Look, every offshore sportsbook is going to dazzle you with their features and promotions. Bonuses are an extremely important part of establishing a solid bankroll, as well as multiplying your wins early on. But you also need to learn to read through the fine print. Most sites will offer bonuses up to a certain amount, or only on a minimum amount deposited. They will also require players to use what is called a rollover with a certain multiple. This means you need to first wager a certain amount of your own money before the site puts a bunch of free money into your account. Keep an eye out for welcome/sign up bonuses, reload bonuses, crypto bonuses, casino bonuses, racetrack bonuses, and even special event or holiday themed bonuses.

5. Customer Service: Everyone has great customer service before you buy their product, or prior to becoming a member in their organization, the question is how are you treated after you join, or make your purchase. That’s one of the reasons you need to be able to trust the reviews you see on the various websites. We would like you to know we are by no means web designers, we just love sports. We don’t just review gambling sites, we play and bet at them. These reviews contain our personal opinions. You may, or may not agree with us and that's okay, we're all different, but being in the industry since 2004 has taught us something. No bet is a sure thing, keep that in mind when you wager, and have some fun at it.
