Notre Dame football will kick off Monday night when they travel to Louisville to face the Cardinals. The Fighting Irish are ranked 9th in the early polls, and are an 18 point road favorite. The over/under is 54.5 points. The Irish are a whopping -1250 with the money line, while Louisville is +750. Notre Dame has a moderate schedule I would say this year. They should easily win their first two games, but then will get a huge test in week 3 when they have to travel to #3 Georgia. Then in the middle of their schedule they get USC at home, who always plays them tough, followed by going to #7 Michigan, and then they close out the season at #25 Stanford. So the challenge for them will be that all three of their games against ranked teams will be on the road.

They likely will beat Stanford on the road, especially being the last game of the season where there could be a lot on the line for them- that shouldn't be too hard. If they can beat either Georgia or Michigan, then who knows, they can potentially be one of the 4 playoff teams if they are at one loss, but if they lose both those games, they will still make a decent bowl game, but not a playoff game. Kickoff is on Monday night at 5:00 PT, and for game one, they have an 89% chance of winning, so if you take them, I would take them giving 18 points; I think they can win their opener by at least 3 TD's.
