As the NCAA men's basketball regular season is coming to a close in the next couple weeks, there are still a lot of big games left with tournament seeding implications. Virginia and Louisville should be a closer game than what was first expected. Louisville will be at home, and they are coming off an embarrassing blowout loss to Syracuse the other day, so I think they will be revved up for this one and give the Cavaliers all they can handle, possibly even pulling off the upset, but at least covering the spread. Tennessee was the top ranked team a week ago before falling to Kentucky, now 5th, we will see how they can bounce back from a tough loss as they travel to play against #13 LSU. A win on the road against a worthy opponent will keep them in the championship conversation, but another loss and there may be some trouble for the Volunteers.

Duke is on the road against Syracuse. Remeber- Cuse beat Duke at Duke a few weeks back, so this will definitely be a revenge game. It will also be an emotional game for the Orange men. Just the other day, after their big win against Louisville, Syracuse Coach Jim Boeheim was driving home after dinner. A few moments earlier, a car hit a guardrail and spun out of control. The 4 passengers in the crashed car tried running across the dark highway to safety, as they were almost hit immediately after crashing, and realized they were in danger. Boeheim came across the crashed car and swerved at the last second, but while doing so, he hit and killed one of the passengers trying to get to safety. It was ruled an accident, and he wasn't charged with a crime, but that will have to take a toll on him as well as his team for a long time. It's hard to tell how Syracuse will come out and play in their rematch vs. Duke, but it was just announced that he will coach against Duke.

The final game of the weekend is Sunday when #7 Michigan hosts #10 Michigan State. This game should be as close as it gets with it being a huge in-state rivalry and Big 10 bragging rights on the line. Michigan has just a slight 51% chance of winning this game. These two teams will also meet a couple weeks later to close out their regular seasons.
