You’re going to need your seat belts this Sunday, because we are going to be privy to some amazing NFC offence when the LA Rams take on the New Orleans Saints at Mercedes-Benz Superdome on January 20th.
The Saints are riding high with their star QB and a definite shoe-in NFL Hall of Famer Drew Brees. Playing in Indiana for Purdue, Bree had a successful NCAAF career before the Chargers drafted him as a first pick in the second round back in 01. In fact, I think he had more brass than a 5 Star general with his 13 Big 10 awards and 19 Purdue records.
LA Rams are going in this game with some stars of their own as-in Running Back Tod Gurley. An alumni of Georgia, Gurley took All-SEC honors two consecutive years 2012 and 2013. In last week’s game he had 115 yards on the ground, just under teammate C.J. Anderson who had 123 for a combined total of 238 rushing yards and three touchdowns against Dallas.
This Rams, Saints game is going to be a lot of both; offense to be sure, defense without a doubt. The Rams are looking to recoup that loss they had earlier this year against the Saints, so that in mind I’m taking the Rams and the points.
