World Cup Soccer: Belgium Vs. England on Saturday 7/14/2018
Belgium and England will be going face to face once again, to see which nation will finish third in this World Cup, at Saint Petersburg Stadium on July 14th, Saturday.
After an unbeaten run of 25 games, Belgium lost their match in more than two years to France 1 – 0. Although Les Diables Rouges has an incredibly talented squad, they were unable to find their tempo, due to the resilient French midfield. Belgium will once again require the services of their captain, Eden Hazard, to use his skills and pace to open up the England defense.
Kevin De Bruyne, the talented midfielder whose passes can find his teammates, even against the tightest of defenses, will be one of the key players in this game. Romelu Lukaku, who is still in the run for the Golden Boot, will pose a massive threat to England’s defense.
After England’s loss to Croatia 2 – 1 in extra time, The Three Lions will need to shake off the blues as they require 100% commitment from all their players in this match. Gareth Southgate may have to play without Kieran Tripper, as he picked up an injury in the previous game. Although Harry Kane will want to play this game, to ensure that he picks up the Golden Boot, the England skipper looked tired the entire match against Croatia.
The odds are in favor of Les Diables Rouges, as Belgium will go all out to redeem themselves by securing the third place in this tournament!
