“We didn’t score any points, that’s the biggest reason” said Bengal coach Marvin Lewis referring to the shellacking Cincinnati took at the hands of Baltimore by a score of 20-0 in week 1. That was the 19th time Cincinnati was held at bay; in 2000 it happened twice loosing 13-0 to Jacksonville and 37-0 to Baltimore. It wasn’t a good week for QB Andy Dalton who played in the Pro Bowl three. Coach Lewis is counting on him to get in shape before they host Houston tonight at Paul Brown Stadium.
Texans didn’t look that good either as they took it on the chin this week 29-7. Leonard Fournette ran for 100 yards and a touchdown. The 4th pick has the honor of being the first Jaguar to get a touchdown and 100 rushing yards in the first game they played. QB Tom Savage didn’t make it past halftime before Deshaun Watson took over. Watson didn’t look too hot either and although he has a mild ankle injury it is believed he will be the starting QB for the Bengals tonight.
