Formula One established a home track in Australia back in 1985 when ran in Adelaide. Thanks to Bob Jane and Jeff Kennett premier of the State of Victoria, Melbourne has been the home of Australia’s Formula One since 1993, with the first championship being held at Albert Park in Melbourne in 1995.
The Australian Grand Prix fires up on Sunday, March 26 and will air at 1 AM Eastern Time on NBCSN. Lewis Hamilton is favored at +120 ahead of Sebastian Vettel at +325 with Valtteri Bottas next at + 500.
Lewis who had two winning seasons ended up in second last year behind teammate Nico Rosberg, also with Team Mercedes. Sebastian Vettel with Team Ferrari came in fourth place in 2016 and Valtteri Bottas with Team Williams-Mercedes ending up eight.-->
