NFL Football Preview: Bengals vs Giants.
Two of the top 6 passing offenses in the nation face off during prime-time on Monday Night Football. The Cincinnati Bengals travel to the MetLife stadium to play the New York Giants. Both teams must win the game to get into the playoffs. Offshore sports-books are favoring a win for the Bengals in this game.
The Cincinnati Bengals
The Bengals tied their last game to the Washington Redskins, two weeks ago. The Bengals’ passing offense is ranked 4th in the nation with quarterback Andy Dalton and receiver A.J Green helping then get past their opponents. Their defense, however, is ranked 25th in the nation and could definitely use some improvement. They are 3-4-1 this season and are in contention to take over the top spot in the AFC North.
The New York Giants
The Giants are coming off a 28-23 win against the Philadelphia Eagles and are 5-3 this season. Their passing offense is ranked 6th in the nation with Eli Manning and rookie, Paul Perkins putting in some notable performances. Although their passing game is good, their rushing game is ranked lowest in the country amassing only 68.2 yards so far this season. Their defense isn’t in the best shape either as they are ranked 23rd in the nation.
NFL betting experts are predicting a narrow win for the Bengals as the Giants’ defense falters. The Bengals have had time to rest and recuperate after a tough match and this should help them get past the Giants.
