Cleveland Browns vs Baltimore Ravens Preview
This week’s Thursday Night Football sees the Cleveland Browns traveling to the MT Bank Stadium, to face off against the Baltimore Ravens. The Browns are yet to win a game this season while the Ravens are having an average season themselves. Offshore sportsbooks pick Ravens as favorites to win.
The Browns are having a horrible season so far and are 0-9. Their last game saw them lose 10-35 to the Dallas Cowboys as they continue to languish in the last spot in their division. Quarterback Cody Kessler is expected to start ahead of Josh McCown after a decent performance against the Cowboys. Kessler threw for 203 yards and a touchdown. The Browns’ inability to keep their quarterbacks protected was evident as Kessler was sacked 4 times. Wide receiver Cory Coleman, provides some hope for the Browns after a good performance against the Cowboys.
The Ravens recovered from a 4 game losing streak against the Pittsburgh Steelers last week. They beat the Steelers 21-14 to go top of the AFC North division. Quarterback Joe Flacco is expected to have a field day against the Browns’ 24th ranked passing defense. Against the Steelers, Flacco passed for 241 yards and a touchdown, this is expected to improve. The Browns’ offensive line has allowed 24 sacks this season and the Ravens’ defense could have an easy task on their hands.
The Ravens have beaten the Browns in 5 out of the last 6 meetings. Those who bet on NFL football predict that the Browns will continue their losing streak.
