MLB World Series Game 6
Cubbies try to tie the series at 3-3 tonight in Cleveland playing Game 6 of the MLB World Series. Currently the Indians lead the series 3 games to 2. The Cubs left Cleveland 1 game down as Cleveland lead 2-1. With the next 3 games being played at the beautiful confines of Wrigley Field many Cub enthusiasts hoped the Cubs might get their long awaited world Series title in front of the home town fans, but that was not to be. Sadly, for the Cubs and their fans they left the windy City still down 1 game and instead of a possibly 5 games left to play it’s down to hopefully for the Cubs 2 more games. Cleveland gets to go back home in a good position of having to win just one of two and having the home team advantage for both games if need be.
Tonight's Pitchers are
The Cubs are going with right hander Jake Arrieta who had a season record of 18 and 8 and having won Game 2 in Cleveland giving up just one earned run which came in the sixth inning when Arrieta threw a wild pitch allowing Jason Kipns to score. Going for the Indians tonight is right handed Josh Tomlin winner in Game 3 at Wrigley. Tomlin didn’t get much help from his offense on Friday but he didn’t need much as the one run they scored in the top of the 7th inning was enough to dampen the fans in Chicago that night. Cubs starter Kyle Hendricks gave up six hits and struck out six in four and 2/3 innings and was not the pitcher of record.
