NFL Preview: Jacksonville Jaguars vs Tennessee Titans
Both the Jaguars and the Titans desperately need a win in their upcoming game on October 27th. Both teams have had shaky starts to the NFL season and Week 8 should see one of them getting back on track. Tennessee host the Jaguars at the Nissan Stadium and will be hoping for a win. Those who regularly bet on NFL football are predicting a narrow win for the Titans.
The Jaguars are 4-2 so far this season and started with 3 consecutive defeats. Their last game was against the Oakland Raiders and the Jaguars had many opportunities to grab the game. The Raiders’ defense is ranked last in terms of pass defence but Jaguars QB Blake Bortles managed to complete slightly over half of his attempted passes. Receivers Allen Hurns and Allen Robinson are also performing below standards when compared to last season. Their running game is also off this season. The Jaguars have their defense to thank for the 2 wins they’ve managed this season as they concede an average of only 215 passing yards per game.
p>The Titans have the opposite problem – their offense is performing well but their defense has let them down. In their last game against the Indianapolis Colts, the defense gave up 422 yards, intercepted 0 passes and allowed 3 touchdowns. Their main strength is the offense as quarterback Marcus Mariota has improved his form in the last 3 games, with 8 touchdown passes and only one interception. This should help the Titans dominate the Jaguars and boost their current record of 4-3 this season. Offshore sportsbooks are expecting a win for the Titans to get back in form.
