Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs Carolina Panthers Preview
After beating the Louisville Cardinals in probably the biggest game of the season so far, the Clemson Tigers faThis week's Monday Night Football offering features the Tampa Bay Buccaneers traveling to Carolina as they face off against the Panthers at the Bank of America Stadium. Both teams have under-performed this season and have 1-3 records so far. NFL betting experts are unsure about the outcome of the game as both teams have injury worries before the game.
Week 4 saw the Buccaneers lose 27-7 to the Denver Broncos in a game that saw quarterback, Jameis Winston, take 16 hits. Although that is a cause for concern, receiver Mike Evans give reason for hope as he ranks in the Top 10 in receiving touchdowns, receptions and receiving yards. Their offense currently averages a meager 82.5 yards per game and the game won't go well if this isn't improved. The Buccaneers also have injuries in their defense to worry about with Gerald McCoy and Noah Spence unsure of playing the game.
The Carolina Panthers are defending NFC Champions but their performances this season show no indication of this. Their last match saw them lose 48-33 to the Atlanta Falcons, who moved into the No. 1 rank after the win. Their defense was below average during that game as they let Falcons' receiver Julio Jones covered 300 receiving yards. Their biggest injury concern is that of quarterback Cam Newton who was diagnosed with a concussion and is a doubt for Monday's game. Derek Anderson is more likely to start and he seems to have a good connection with tight end Greg Olsen.
