Clemson Tigers vs Boston College Eagles Preview
After beating the Louisville Cardinals in probably the biggest game of the season so far, the Clemson Tigers face the Boston College Eagles Friday at Alumni Stadium. The Eagles also have a spring in their step as they won a massive 35-3 over Buffalo last week. College football betting experts are strongly predicting a win for the Tigers thanks to their unstoppable offense.
The Tigers' match against the Cardinals was the most hyped match up of the season. Both teams were undefeated and only one could continue doing so. The Tigers came out on top thanks to Deshaun Watson, who outperformed his counterpart for the Cardinals, Lamar Jackson. Watson scored 5 touchdowns as the Tigers rallied to overcome a 18 point deficit in the final two quarters of the game. Deon Cain and Jordan Leggett were the top receivers as they had 7 receptions and 3 touchdowns.
The Eagles are 3-2 this season and are coming off a resounding win against the Buffalo Bulls Their defense is ranked sixth in the nation and it's easy to see why. On average, they concede only 78 rushing yards and 124 passing yards per game. Quarterback Patrick Towles threw 234 yards and 2 touchdowns. He completed 14 of 25 passes but did have 2 fumbles in the game. Jon Hilliman and Davon Jones scored the other two touchdowns of the game.
