NFL's third pre-season week starts with a match between The Pittsburgh Steelers and Buffalo Bills. The last time these two teams met, the Steelers beat the Bills 19-16 in overtime, during last year's pre-season game. The Bills haven't won against the Steelers in 16 years. Buffalo's last victory over Pittsburgh was back 1999 when Doug Flutie threw the Bills to a 24 - 21 victory over Pitthsburgh with 3 touchdown passes, now they are set to face each other again at the Ralph Wilson Stadium on Saturday, August 29 and the offshore sportsbooks seem to indicate that the Bills are going to win this one.
Pittsburgh Steelers are fresh off a win against Green Bay Packers, but the main talking point from the game were the injuries with the Steelers losing their All Pro center Maurkice Pouncey to an ankle injury and lost defensive linesman Stephon Tuitt to an ankle injury. On the bright side, Ben Roethlisberger aka Big Ben stepped up with an impressive performance where he almost had a perfect pass rate to help the Steelers win. Markus Wheaton, Tyler Murphy and Shamarko Thomas were the other stars of the night.
Buffalo Bills also won their first pre-season game last week when they beat Cleveland Browns 11-10 on August 20. The only downside for the Bills was the injury sustained by receiver Chris Hogan, who is set to be out for 2-4 weeks. The Bills have a really strong offensive line with all three of their quarterbacks playing really well at the moment. Out of the three, Tyrod Taylor is the star of the show with his accurate throws and agility, he's been impressive during the pre-season games. Fellow quarterbacks EJ Manuel and Cassell have been playing well. The Bills also have many injured players returning this week and will be hoping to capitalize on the extra men to win the game. Top offshore sportsbooks seem to indicate that the Bills are likely to get their first win against the Steelers in more than 5 years.
