France Vs. Croatia: World Cup Final on Sunday, 7/15/2018
France and Croatia will be battling it out for the most sought out trophy in football- the winner of the World Cup, in Luzhniki Stadium on 15th July 2018.
France has had a fantastic run throughout this tournament, with zero losses. Les Bleus showcased their squad’s immense talent and ability to play effective football by beating heavyweights such as Argentina, Uruguay, and Belgium in the knockout stages. France will need N'Golo Kanté, Blaise Matuidi, and Paul Pogba to play tight so that they can stop the Croatians from gaining momentum in the midfield.
Olivier Giroud will have an important task of using his hold-up play to give Antoine Griezmann and Kylian Mbappé large amounts of space to beat the Croatian defense.
Croatia had to take their games against Denmark, Russia, and England to extra time, on their way to the finals. Even though the Croatians have played 90 minutes more than Les Bleus, they still possess the tenacity to give France a run for its money. Luka Modri?, one of the best midfielders in football, will cause significant trouble, as his passes find holes in every defense. Les Bleus will be cautious of giving Ivan Rakiti? and Ivan Periši? any space, two players who can turn the game in favor of Croatia.
Mario Mandžuki? is another player who has the potential to change the tides of the game, as the Croatian hitman has the skill to score crucial goals under high pressure.
Although Croatia has done the unthinkable, the odds are in favor of France to emerge as 2018 FIFA World Cup winner!
