World Cup - England Vs. Belgium Preview
England will be taking on Belgium at the Kaliningrad Stadium on 28th June 2018, to decide which nation tops Group G. Gareth Southgate has done a marvelous job in rejuvenating the England national team, thanks to the incredible performance of the squad in the World Cup.
Although England decimated Panama 6 – 1, the game against Belgium won’t be easy, as they are up against some of the best players in the world. England will be relying on their in-form captain, Harry Kane, to put the ball beyond the reaches of Thibaut Courtois. Belgium will also have to keep a close eye on Jesse Lingard, Dele Alli, and Kieran Trippier, as the trio can wreak havoc on their defense. As Belgium’s defense has been shaky throughout the tournament, England will try to make the most every mistake.
England will need to maintain their focus for the entire 90 minutes, as even a single mistake can prove costly. The highly talented Belgium captain, Eden Hazard, will give England a hard time, as he has the skills to slip past their defense at will. With Kevin De Brune orchestrating the attack, the England defense will be on their toes throughout the match. However, Belgium will have to depend on Michy Batshuayi, as Romelu Lukaku injured his ankle ligament against Tunisia.
The match between England and Belgium will be of high-intensity, as both heavyweights will want to put this one away.
