March Madness Preview #3 Texas Tech vs #2 Purdue
In college basketball playoffs on Friday, Texas Tech Red Raiders will be locking horns with Purdue Boilermakers on March 23rd, at TD Garden, Boston Massachusetts. Which of these two will be advancing to the Elite Eight?
Texas Tech Red Raiders
Texas Tech Red Raiders are on a high, after beating Florida in a close game, 69 – 66. The Red Raiders will have to step up their defense to prevent Purdue from playing their game.
All hopes will be on Red Raiders top scorer, Keenan Evans, who has been scoring a minimum of 22 points in the last four out of five games. The Boilermakers will also have to keep Zhaire Smith and Jarrett Culver out of their comfort zone.
Purdue Boilermakers didn’t have Isaac Haas, but that didn’t stop them from beating Butler Bulldogs 76 – 73. The Boilermakers offense will have to give everything they got, to find vital cracks in the Red Raiders defense.
Although Carsen Edwards hasn’t been giving his best performance in the last three matches, never rule him out as a key player for the Boilermakers. With Vincent Edwards and Dakota Mathias in their ranks, the Red Raiders are in for a rough ride.
As the top seeds go head to head, the match is going to be extremely close. Place your bets on Texas Tech Red Raiders as they will book their spot in the Elite Eight!
