Toronto Blue Jays vs Baltimore Orioles: Tuesday 9-12-2017 at 7:07
It’s called the cellar, or the dungeon and those are some dark words to describe last place. That’s where the Toronto Blue Jays are dwelling, last place. So how would overcome all of the disappointment, hurt, and anger that most experience when being last? Hey, I got it; just ruin it for the next guys. Most likely the only thing right now that could put a smile on the face of the Blue Jays and the Toronto fans who support them. Tonight at 7:07pm the Blue Jays will be playing baseball in Baltimore against the Orioles who are in the hunt for a Wild Card spot in baseball’s American League.
Joe Biagini who is slated to start is not having a good season thus far. In his 13 starts this year he is 3-10 with an ERA of 5.29. Despite that stat, In the 101 innings Biagini has pitched he has what I believe to be an impressive 89 strikeouts.
Baltimore is going with Kevin Gausman who faced Biagini just a little under two weeks ago. Baltimore won that game 1-0 despite Biagini striking out 10 Orioles in 7. Gausman is sitting of the fence with a 10-10 record and an ERA of 4.99.
What makes this worth the interest is solely the fact can Toronto has a shot at playing the spoiler.
