Tennessee Titans vs Jacksonville Jaguars Thursday 11-19-2015

Neither team will be in the playoffs this year, but both are going all out for a victory

The Jacksonville Jaguars will host the Tennessee Titans this Thursday night.  The Jags are 3-6 and the Titans are 2-7, so both these teams won’t be making any playoff runs this year. The Jaguars are a slight 2.5 point favorite so far, and the over/under is at 43 points.  ESPN has Jacksonville at a 57.1% chance to win this game.  Jacksonville is -140 with the money line, and Tennessee is +120.

I think the Jaguars win come out on top this game. They have a better record, they are at home, they have no injuries to report,  and they enter the game on a winning streak, albeit one game. Against the spread, the Titans are 4-5 overall.  They are 4-2 as the underdog, and 2-2 as the away team. Jacksonville is 5-4 against the spread this season.  They are 0-1 as the favorite and 2-2 as the home team.

Tennessee gives up just under 19 points per game, but they only score 23.8 PPG.  Jacksonville scores 21.3 PPG, while giving up over 4 touchdowns at 28.3 on average.  Kickoff is at 5:25 PT Thursday. The weather will be warm in Florida, about 77 degrees, but there is a chance of thunderstorms. I think this will be a sloppy game, especially if it rains, and I think the under comes in with the Jags covering the 2.5 point spread.
