Notre Dame Host Georgia Tech Saturday in NCAA Week 3

Both teams go into Saturdays action with 2 win apiece

The Notre Dame Fighting Irish host Georgia Tech's Yellow Jackets in week 3 of the NCAA on 19th September. Both teams have started the season well with 2 wins in 2 games, but neither has faced high-level competition so far. The game is set to be a close call for online sports betters as both teams have the power to dominate.

The Fighting Irish are coming off a 34-27 comeback win over Virginia where they unfortunately lost star quarterback Malik Zaire to a fractured ankle. Backup quarterback DeShone Kizer, stepped up and proved that he is ready to play in the big leagues by leading the Fighting Irish to victory with only 12 seconds remaining. Wide receiver Will Fuller also had a good game against Virginia as he scored 2 touchdowns and covered 124 yards. Notre Dame still has a few defensive woes as they conceded 27 points in 3 quarters against Virginia. There seemed to be misunderstandings among their defensive line with Devin Butler and Joe Schmidt bumping into each other followed by a collision between Jaylon Smith and Drue Tranquill later in the game.

Georgia Tech was excellent in offense last week as they beat Tulane 65-10 victory. Quarterback Justin Armstrong was the star of the show with 2 touchdowns, 7 for 9 on passing and added 71 yards before leaving the game in the third quarter. Backup quarterback also performed admirably along with freshman runner Marcus Marshall. The trio is a huge threat and online sports betters are counting on them to help Georgia Tech beat Notre Dame.

Notre Dame has won 8 of their last 10 home games, but nothing is guaranteed for this game. Overall, the game is predicted to be a tight one with the Yellow Jackets being favorites to get a narrow win, amongst betters.
