Bengals to Visit Colts Cincinnati Bengals are set to face the Indianapolis Colts in one of the last 2 games in the NFL preseason. They are going to play at the Lucas Oil Stadium, Indiana on Thursday, September 3. The home team  (Indianapolis Colts) are  favorites amongst online sportsbooks as the Bengals haven't beaten them in a preseason away game in the last 5 years. Neither team is likely to play their starters as they're looking to avoid injuries with the main season kicking off on September 11.

The Colts are 1-2 in preseason games and are coming off a win against St. Louis Rams. They are likely to rest main quarterback Andrew Luck which means veteran Matt Hasellbeck and rookie Ryan Bennett are going to get a chance to showcase their talents. T.Y Hilton, Dwayne Allen and Andre Johnson will probably sit out too, giving Griff Whalen and Quan Bray a chance to shine. Defensively, Amarlo Herrera was the best last match with four tackles followed by Erik Walden who had 2 sacks.

The Bengals are 2-1 in the preseason games and won against the Chicago Bears in their last game. Star quarterback Andy Dalton is preparing for the season opener and is likely to sit this game out, giving AJ McArron a chance to prove that he belongs in the big leagues. Fellow quarterback, Keith Wenning is also likely to play more this game. Running back Rex Burkhead hopes to continue his good form while rookie James Wilder Jr. will probably get enough chances to shine. In the last game, Vincent Rey led the defense with 6 tackles. The Bengals also have a few newbies who could impress on Thursday.

Overall, Colts have the home advantage and are favorites among online sportsbooks to win in a match played by rookies.
